Any doubt contact your local authority.</p> <p>Start sowing your bedding plants in the heated greenhouse.</p> <p>Prune clematis and dogwoods.&nbsp;</p> <p>Deadhead other plants.</p> <br /> <p><b>Veg Growers:</b></p> <p>Harvest leeks, sprouts and cabbage as required.</p> <p>Buy seed potatoes: don't leave it too late as choice of variety and quality will diminish as time goes on.</p> <p>Buy Onion Sets, Shallots (in short supply this year due to seed losses) and Garlic.&nbsp;</p> <p>If you intend to buy Asparagus crowns this year buy them now as choice will diminish by next month.</p> <p>Prune the vines.</p> <p>Last but most important: cover your veg plots with weed fabric or plastic ready for digging.
